Simple TV Remote Control 1.4

Simple TV Remote Control app transforms your smartphone into a television remote control. It offers support for all major television manufacturers.

The app utilizes two different solutions: IR blaster and local area internet (LAN) connection (via wifi). Let's take a look at each option:

1. IR blaster: The app supports TVs from all major manufacturers such as Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Vizio, and Philips. However, it is important to note that your smartphone must have an infrared blaster in order to use this functionality. To confirm if your phone has an infrared blaster, please refer to the specifications of your phone or tablet. Most top Samsung models, newer HTC smartphones, and some others offer this feature.
2. LAN (wifi): This solution operates through your home network. For it to work, your smartphone and television must be connected to the same network. Typically, this means that both devices are connected to the same internet router either through wired or wireless connection.

The LAN (wifi) solution currently supports the following manufacturers:

• Samsung: Most Samsung C-series or newer TVs are supported. However, you may need to enable the remote control option in the TV's menu system settings. Once both the TV and phone/tablet are connected to the same network, they will be automatically paired.
• LG: This solution is only compatible with LG Smart TVs released since 2012. If your TV and smartphone/tablet are on the same network but the app fails to detect any devices, it is likely that your television is not supported. Although not all commands are available, the majority of commonly used commands are supported.
